Mrs Johns group have been learning about chicks and their life cycle. It just starts off as an egg then transformes to a chick. It also takes 21 days (3 weeks) for a chick to hatch. Once it has hatched fully, it grows into a hen or a rooster.
Did you know that the chick has a adoptive mother so the hen isn't really the chicks mum?
