Kauri big splash.

Today we had the kauri big splash. Luckily the weather was beautiful so we did'nt get too cold. There were two competitive races, i was in one of the competitive races which was freestyle and it was great + awesome, altogether there were 10 races it was very very very fun watching everyone compete in a race and giving things a go. this was the best day ever.

My class Room 7 did very well in the races ecspecially in the clothes race nad flutterboard, well done everybody.

Visit from tigilu Ness

we were very lucky to have Tigilu Ness to come visit us at Owairaka School for a special assembly. He was also talking to us about his early life and all about the dawn raids. 

All of Kauri team were reading the book dawn raids and we also managed to get him to come visit Owairaka.

Tigilu Ness was also apart of the Plynesion panthers.

Raw fish Recipe

As you all know this week is cook island language week. My class and I have been learning about the cook island culture. such as dancing, singing, food and language.


Earlier this week my class and I Had raw fish.
My teacher made raw fish at home and brang it to school to share. The raw fish was so Delicious..
